This image of VNS Matrix was made as a lightbox (1m x .5m) for our first gallery installation of the project "All New Gen". We ripped off the design concept from a Japanese art group we liked back then called Complesso Plastico. Much of our work was based on theft and forgery, as it was in part a simulation of the advertising industries. I think I could have been a successful copy writer in another lifetime, and my main contribution to VNS was the development of characters and scenarios for our various vapourware enterprises.
